This workshop is specifically designed to give you the opportunity to photograph these magnificent raptors in winter in the shadow of the beautiful White Mountains. Using purpose built heated hides designed by Conny Lundstrom you will photograph the territory eagles in the snow. We will have the use of 2 hides giving you the best opportunities for amazing compositions. The Grey Headed and Black Woodpeckers, Jays, Red Squirrels, Bullfinch and other small birds also visit the territory. ​This is a fully catered trip staying in the lovely village of Kalvtrask we will have our breakfast and dinner together in the home of Conny with a packed lunch provided each day that we will take to the hides. Tea and Coffee is also available while in the hide but if you have a favourite snack then we suggest you pop that in your luggage and bring it along.​ ​We will be in the hides before sunrise and will not leave until sunset so as not to disturb the eagles in day light, so be prepared for early starts. You will have a professional photographer with you at all times to offer guidance and tuition if required. This is a fabulous workshop and you will go away with amazing images.​
Equipment​
​There are a number of photo holes in each hide so you have the opportunity for different focal lengths, we recommend for close ups 70mm - 200mm and a telephoto up to 600mm for longer distance shots. ​If possible it is beneficial to have more than one camera body, but not essential. Conny provides beanbags and plates with screws for attaching your choice of head so you will not require a tripod just remember to bring your preferred tripod head with you if you want to use one.​
